As the others suggest a Super A will crank up just fine on the stock 6 volt system - even after sitting idle for several months.

Key is to have a good battery, starter and ignition. Also vitally important are properly sized battery cables with clean, solid terminals. (None of those 6 ga aftermarket cables sold in the discount parts places - they are WAY too small to work on 6 volt system!)

And of course healthy charging system to KEEP the battery charged!
