O/T Garden tractor

OK I'm way out in left field on this one, but someone out there is sure to know: I've got a mid eighties Murray garden Tractor with and 18HP B&S twin engine. I cut the lawn the other day and when I went to park it with the big red tractor she wouldn't shut off. The problem turns out the whole damn wiring harness was wrapped around the steering column. Now I figured most of it out but there are two wires (a black and a white) that head back to the front of the motor right of the carb and just under the fan shroud, I assume they are for the generator but don't know where the hook up. Any ideas?
