took one of my 2 48 super a's out of the barn today. had been stored for a while but as usual, started right up. the hydraulics lifted the 5' mid mount sickle bar as usual. backed the tractor out, shut her down and came back to it about 1/2 hour later. started her up but the mower would not raise. touch control levers, etc seem to be working fine. pulled fill plug and plenty of fluid, although pressure or an air pocket seemed to blow out when i pulled the plug. never had any hydraulic problems on either super a in 15 years. am guessing the pump or maybe the woodruff key for the pump drive gear sheared. suggestions welcomed before i take the pump off.
