I had a M that did the same thing and I put the stop leak in it for working through the summer. But I sold it as it started smoking oil in the fall and I knew something was wrong. Main thing is watch the oil & temp gauge while working it. If it starts smoking you got a head problem and if the tractor set up any without being used that's likely to happen. Also consider half quart of oil in the gas tank or two cycle oil as these tractors were made to run on leaded gas which had more oil in it, don't over do it though. LOL
