We had near record rains here in east SD in June. But none since 21 June. And lots of HEAT since the 4th also. Alfalfa has been spectacular. Field nearby has produced 5 tons per acre already, and expect to get two more for total of 7T/Ac.That field was planted last spring. Fertilized once last fall, and is not irrigated. But out west near Rapid City they are already buying hay. Our corn is just tasseling out, still looks good at the bottom But the leaves are shrinking some. But no rain also means no hail and no tornadoes. Gordo
