I'm in the process of replaceing my old battery cables on my old "new" H. I noticed that the + ground cable goes from the battery to a bolt that mounts the starter. Just wondering if thats a bad place to ground at? Since the - cable runs to the starter also. There is other bolts on the frame or on the cast I could ground to if you think they would be any better. I don't have another H I can look off of to see how the set up is on it. The tractor came with a dead 12v in it and I put a new 6v in but it will just make it grunt a little. My cables are very old and small. I picked up some 0 cable to replace them with. If none of this helps you will be seeing more from me.
