Farmall 300 Problems

Hello,
I am looking for someone that knows alot about the ignition system on this tractor.....I changed from 6volt to 12 volt.The tractor ran out of gas 3 weeks ago.I left the key on for at least an hour till I got back. Now it will not even try to start.I have changed the points coil and so on with no change..Please heeelllllppppp....I am lost without it.Can't make feed and so on
