M doesn't start

Hi all, what a wonderful board. I have a question about my M not starting. Once in a while it will start, but not very often. I've replaced points, plugs and wires. It has a magneto. Also I haven't replaced the Capacitor yet. The temp. yesterday was in the thirties, so I figured I would put it in the garage and install a tank heater. But, no go. This is the tractor that my loader is on, so I need it, and possibly soon. Any suggestions as what I should check or replace first??
