Hi Terry, Make sure you have those points adjusted to .013". After you have them adjusted rotate engine until points are closed then slide a piece of #400 emery cloth through the points. As (old) has suggested replace that condenser too. Make sure none of the wires in the mag are touching ground. Have someone crank the engine with the starter and check spark at the plug by holding the wire away from plug. It should be a good spark. If it still doesn't start and you have good spark at the plug, shoot some gas into the sparkplug hole and see if it fires. If it fires for a second you need to check for a fuel problem. Hal Did it run before you installed points?
