I thought there used to be an off topic forum on here but couldnt seem to find it...anyway, I have a couple of hand dug wells on my place & would like to use one of em to water stock etc..(not for potable water) The well is 25 ft. deep with 10 ft of water in it & I was wondering what kind of pump to use. A deep/shallow well jet pump or a deep well submersible? Also how could I test the flow on the well before I spent a bunch of money? I have coop water up at the road but 900 bucks to tie in & a water bill every month. Like the idea of using the old wells & keeping em in shape since somebody went to so much trouble to dig em many years ago.. Sorry off the topic but would appreciate any help. Thanks
