Gorilla, Set up an ol windmill, let it pump into a 6000gal storage tank. Then use the shallow well jet-pump to make pressure for the system. You can kill 2 birds with one stone. Have the asthetics of an windmill on your place and a large supply of water on hand for your home/farm use. Your well may not be able replenish very quickly after it has been drawn down. The rate of replenishment will dictate wheather or not you can stick a electric pump in the well and let it run with out worry of running dry for a short time. Or you many need a monitor that will keep the pump from burning up if it does run dry. My place has the above setup with the windmill and storage tank. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
