Farmall H drawbar strap

I picked up what I believe to be a nos drawbar strap for my Farmall H. Is it supose to be a little wider than the drawbar itself? What is used to hold it from swinging side to side? If I use bolts there is a little slop from side to side, how much slop is ok? My drawbar moves in and out too. Also, if I am to use bolts, do I have to put them on with nuts or just drop them in the hole, the reason I am asking is if there is some slop between the strap and bolt and the bolt moves too when the drawbar rubs against it, will the bolt holes get bigger over time? Was there a one piece part (Like for the roller) to hold the strap in place? My H had the drawbar ontop of the U drawbar held in place with the part called the drawbar extention pointing to the front of the tractor.
