Darren: I don't see a problem with strength re, your idea. My first experience with 3 point for 130 was weld the 7/8 pin on a 1-1/4 round stock to fit in rear cultivator mount on fast hitch at final drive. The problem with this is 3 point equipment pulls well because front of lower links are hooked about 6 inches narrower at tractor chassis than they are on implement. Most implements being 28" the SA or 130 is very close to this between the final drives. I was using this on a corn planter many years ago. To solve this problem of corn planter wandering behind tractor, I used a cross member to hook lower links to, set in about 3" from each final drive. If I don't sound clearer than mud e mail me.
