The carb off my '47 H is a 45108 DB which, from the Blue Ribbon Service Manual is the combination gas/distallate or kerosine engine (my tank and tracktor are gas-only). The bottom half of the carb looks more like the gas-only picture in the manual. After pulling the choke plate, separating the halves and pulling the jets, while turning over the bottom half of the carb, what looks like a ball bearing about 3/16ths of an inch in diameter fell out of . . . somewhere. I've looked in both the Blue Ribbon Service and I&T Shop Service manual - I can't see anything in the drawings or any mention of this ball. I must be missing something. Can anyone tell me where this ball goes? Thanks, Dave
