Gary: Just to add to what you have said, ground cables on Super A's were always fastened to the dash standard. I have on all of my tractors made that cable long enough and hooked it one of the bolts of transmission top. I find with the ground going direct to a casting, trouble seems to be less common. The starter switch on top of starter can be a source of grief. You can sand them off some but that only seems to work for a short while. Over the past 10 I have replaced those switches on all my tractors. Again less troublsome since.
