the smell is oil burning. i'm sure that the
restof the engine is ok. it starts good idles
good runs through the gears good. the
antifreeze is topped off and not getting into the
cylinders. i really don't have the money to redo
the entire motor. it gives all the indication that
it is the rings and not the head and valves. i
am going to buy it because it is so straight.
i'm just hoping it is the rings and not the rest
of the engine. i have never done a ring job so
i'm going to be posting here alot and looking
into the archives.
