Two way hydraulic

When we purchased our "M" several years ago the previous owner gave a farmall two way valve to go along with the tractor, but it was not installed. I have now finally got around to installing it and need some help. The plumbing came with it and I have it mounted (piped) to the fill resevoir outlet and the up/down rod is connected. What I need to know how is the rest of it hooked up? Do I run a hose from one of the two outlets on the left hand side of the tractor to the two way valve and which port on the valve do I connect it to? There are (4) ports on the two way valve. Which two do I use for the cylinder connections. Any help will be appreciated.
