Swaping engines in my Farmall 706

I have a "706" with the D282 cid engine in it and would like to put the D310 out of my "715" combine, that I will probably never use again, in it. I haven't been able to find out what I would need for this conversion. Would I come out better if I found a dead "706" or "756" with the 310 in it and use it for parts? Has anyone got a solution? I live in Miss. and "706" and "756" tractors are scarce.
