Sure you have enough tractor if your only going to bale 15 to 20 acres, and the ground is reasonably flat. I had a IH 2400 5 x 6 bale. I have run that baler with any of my tractors, a 300, 656, 560 and 1066. 656 and 560 would bale hay faster than the other two. 300 would bale all be it slower than others. I have never seen a hill stump the old 300 with a 1500 lb bale. 1066 just too big, neither fuel consumption nor hp needed. The 60 hp tractors were far more agile. Anyone that needs a 100+ hp on a round baler, just has too fat of a wallet.
