The early disc brakes are shown on page 238 of my IH M parts manual. They are listed as special on M and MV SN 501 to 294225. They may or may not have been available as original equipment but they were definitly approved and serviced by IH. Some parts were still available a few years back and may still be. M and MV from sn 294226 to end of production had Super M type brakes
