Repower a 56 series with 466?

Will a 466 bolt right up to the rear-end of a 56 series tractor? My father has two 'well-worked' tractors - an 856 and 1256 and would like to repower one of them with a 466 that he used to use as an irrigation power unit. Anyone have some experience doing a 466 conversion or a website they can link? Thanks.
