Thanks for the info! My tractor does have the place for the starter and the ring gear looks like brand new, also my fan has the extra pulley on it. I thought about 12 volt but all the alternators I've seen on H's you have to cut the hood to get them to fit. Does anyone know a place where I can get a alternator that will fit under the hood? Thanks Bob
