Look in the hole on the clutch housing [carb. side of motor] with a light.Have some one crank SLOWLY.Find DC stamped on flywheel,align that with the pin that you will also see.A compression gauge or somebodys thumb in the #1 cylinder will verify compression stroke aproaching DC. Once you have that couple up the mag,set full retard [points housing C.C.W.] With impulse locked out,turn coupling till points open just a "hair".Find holes that are aligned and bolt it up.Should run fine.
