IH told me they did not have a kit for my MD carb. Your switch over linkage may not be adjusted correctly. When you switch to diesel, it is supposed to lock the float up so no gas flows. Also supposed to switch butterflys in the manifold to stop air from flowing through the carb. Getting the carb off is a real chore. It's held on to the manifold by 4 bolts and one of the back ones is near impossible to get a wrench on. If you take the carb apart, real careful with it because parts are hard to get. The float is cork (at least it is in the MD) and IH says not available.
