I just put a straight pipe on my H this year with a slight curve at the top made of corrosion resistant steel. And man it sounds great!!! Sounds like a 327 Chris Craft running. Mind you now, you need btween 18" and 24" of pipe. You will loose power without this extension( thats a whole other discussion about volumetric efficiency)but with the pipe I had to adjust my carb about a half turn out to compensate for the way it now breaths.Try it you'll love it,Bill
