DAvid, The 2424 - 424 series is American, but the 414 may be English. I don't know much about the 414 or 2414 which may be very different, even the PTO setup may be different. The seller should be able to tell you if it's a live PTO or not. A 2424 Lo-Boy just showed up on eBay (with tires in the extra wide position, by the way). Check out number 140129956040 if you want to see what I mean by ugly. I use an overriding clutch with mine when I run the brush hog with my 2424. Larry
