It's usually something simple. Since the tractor won't start you need to remove No1 sparkplug and bring No1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke
until your timing marks are aligned. Then remove the distributor cap and see where your rotor is pointing. It should be at the No1 plug tower. Very easy to be 180 degrees out. Its happened to all of us. Hal
