140 farmall what type fluids to use

Again I know very (just enough to be dangers) about this tractor plan to buy a service manual just want to research to find the best one. What type fluids to use for this tractor engine, hyd, ect I did take the cap off of the res. in front of the hyd. pump and can not see any fluid. How much should be in it and what type also? Guys and Gals I thank you all for any info.
