Hugh every once in a while we get a good one. In 78 we had 3 feet here for weeks and 20 below temps. In 84 we had drifts 7 to 8 feet deep. In I believe 96 eastern KY in the mountains were supposed to get hammered and here in central Ky we were supposed to get a dusting. Our city fathers wise as they are sent nearly all our snow plows to help out in the mountains, and guess what, they got a dusting and we got almost 30 inches, and no snow plows. The farmers cleared the roads so ambulances and emergency vehicles could get around. Whats that about nice guys? By the way folks around here ride me about wearing my shorts most the winter.
