The DT414, DT436, and DT466 are all members of the "400 series" diesels built in the Melrose Park, Ill. engine plant. That plant is still building 466's and 530's for Navistar today. 1066's and 1086's used 414's; 1466's, 1486's, 1566's, and 1586's used 436's. Originally, the 466 was a truck motor only, but were then used in 5288's, 5488's, and the few Super 70 series that were built.
