According to C.H. Wendel in his book "150 years of International Harvester" the 1066 came with a DT 414 engine (DT=Diesel Turbo). The 1066 had 100-plus drawbar HP. He also states that 1086's had 131.4 PTO horsepower from a 414 cubic inch diesel engine, also turbo'd. I also know that the 1086 has the same engine as a 915 combine. However, our 1460 axial flow combine has a 436 that is turbo'd. The 414 was also used in the 1486. The 436 engine, according to C.H. Wendel was used in the 1466 and 1586. But where does the DT 466 come in then? Was it only put in the over the road trucks? I'm not sure all of this is right, I'm only quoting from a book I have. Steven
