My dad's 966 used the D-414 and remember reading that the 986 use the D-436. The 686 also used a version of this engine D-312 although scalled down.

What is the diference between the 414, 436, 466. I'm guessing that big part is that bore and stroke were the big items. I would guess that the injector pump was the same with diferent injectors or setting to give the 466 a little more fuel then the 414.

Also, do they bolt up the same way?
