farmall h 1942 oil

On the center section of 1942 H model, there's a fly wheel on the right side, the part that it is connected to-I need to know what kind of oil it needs to have, along with the center section of the tractor. Hydralic or what? I'm finding this out for my dad so the question might be a little vague. He hates computers so I'm secretly helping him out. I would appreciate a reply! Thank you! Sherri
