Thanks Dave, I forgot to tell you that my tractor does have the plate with the six holes already mounted on it. The two for the tow bar are facing the front of the tractor as you said they should be. According to her son they removed the narrow front and stored it in the shed. But he did not remember which direction that the post faced when they took it off. I am new at this stuff and you have been very helpful. PS, That sure is one nice "M" that you sent me a picture of, hope to get my "C" to look just as good. Going to borrow my brothers camera and will try to get a couple of pics of the "C" and send them to you.
