One WATT of electricity produces 3.41 BTU's of HEAT, no matter HOW many $$$$$$$ you pay for the heater the electricity is passing through.

ANYTHING else violates the laws of physics, and would be a form of perpetual motion.

What do YOU have to say about that???

Yup Bob, you are right. Every portable electric resistance heater is, by definition, 100% efficient. Every watt of energy consumed produces heat. The cheap ones are just as efficient as the expensive ones.

I am constantly amazed at how many people can't grasp that fact.
