Get it properly repaired B-4 it falls apart!

There's 4 capscrews down in the bottom of that tilt wheel joint that COMMONLY shake loose.

It takes a bit of labor to get in there, but if you don't get them tightened back up, eventually the column will literally fall apart.

Suggest you find a REASONABLE mechanic who's been through this before, and get a quote for the couple of hours of labor that it takes to get the capscrews TIGHTENED (with a little Loctite, so it doesn't happen again).

Great link, I guess i will tackie it because finding a honest auto mechanic in my area would
take a lifetime for a young man and im allready 54.
