John,
Based on my experience, if you can get into a light enough class where you have more power than the other tractors in the class AND can get it to the ground, you should be pleased with the results. I think you surprised everyone by being able to pull the big boys' Bushwacker Sled yesterday! I'm glad you had an opportunity to pull at the So. MD Promoters' pull. We're planning to have the same Farm Stock classes next time, so I'll look forward to seeing you there next year. I guess it was pretty obvious the difference weight plays as the Super C with water in the tires seemed to do much better than the one without water. Although most successful pullers do not run water in the tires, but instead rely on add-on weights which can be moved around to balance the tractor depending on track conditions.
