Not all carb rebuild kits are equal (550)

Rebuilding my TSX811 (1969 White 2-44/550 industrial): I now see that not all carb kits are created equal.
The Agco ones have spare Throttle Shaft Seal, Retainer and Cup. The eBay or Tractor Supply-type kits do not. Since my carb had this seal missing as well as idle jet, I now have to purchase another (better) rebuild kit!
The better kits also have the felt packing washer you need for the choke shaft.
The cheap ones are good for the gaskets, venturi, throttle shaft but not much else.
If you follow the shop manual rebuild instructions you will soon find yourself cutting corners or buying a better kit!

Chris: I also put an answer to your 550 hydraulic question. Why do want an idle so bad or did you ruin it taking it out?

There was no idle jet in the carb when I disassembled it, but I did not know that, because of the poor diagrams I have. The one that got ruined was the economizer jet, but I thought I had ruined the idle jet - I did not know THEN that the idle jet was missing - if that makes sense?
I assume when I put it all back together that I do not want to miss anything that should be there.
Since the engine would only work with the choke cable in one 'sweet' spot, about half way out, I figured that one or all of: the missing Idle Jet, the crumpled O ring on the Main Adjustment Needle Valve and the missing throttle shaft seal would solve the problem. Plus, using that 'sweet spot' the engine was idling very fast - too fast.
So when I referred to the Idle Jet on my previous TSX811 thread, I was referring to the economizer jet - a part not even mentioned in my shop manual.
