Hello just wondering it there is anything special (made of special material) about the stabilizer bars? Do they attach to the lower eyes on the 3 point arm also? Just tryin to keep my rock rake where it should be.

Thanks
Brent

Lucky you this was covered in the implement alley
forum a couple days ago. Complete with pictures.
One thing, the brackets under the fenders come with
several holes in them the pin in the bracket should
line up with the pin sticking out of the differential.

My pictures do get around! in reply to Dave Sherburne NY, 06-25-2007 11:23:16
Thanks for posting the link. About the bars themselves. I've tried to straighten a bent one before and it snapped like glass. I welded it and it's still on the job 2 years later. (On the right side of those pictures) Since then, I've bent and straightened both of them on occasion. (Usually bent them when attemting to use only one at a time) I'm not a metalurgist, but I do know they aren't just cold rolled steel.

Hello,
They are certainly more than mild steel but will still bend easily. They are cheap enough to buy new or sh. Mild steel will do if you increase the size a little. The forward end is attached to the pins in the brackets under the fenders. Fit two if you can to provide stabilisation in both directions.
