If you have an older 135 diesel look on the front side on the bottom of the oil pan. It might have the casting date if you are trying to figure out what year it is. 135's were made from 64 to 75 in USA and 641000etc. serial numbers were only used for the first 3 years. Later models started with 9A. In the UK 135's were made from 65 to 79 and had different serial numbers. Also in 1971 they were updated with a few things, most notably a straight front axle. The easiest way to tell the difference is UK models had the 135 emblem near the front of the hood and US at the rear of the hood. They were also made in France but finding info on these ones is difficult.

Thanks 135 Fan I'll look on the oil pan next time I have some time off.It does not have a serial tag on the lower dash . The 135 emblem is at the rear of hood , making it a US model.
