feeder fingers timing

old,the feeder fingers are normally easier to time than the needles.Get the plungerhead face on compression stroke centered in frt.finger slot and set fingers to distance,tighten chain and done.Tx Jim

Thats what we have been trying to do but every time when just about to get done we do as the book says and recheck for the 16-18 inch meassurement of the feeder fingers and its not as it should be.

Yep we tighten them up as we go, I know how a loose chain can cause trouble. Learned that one the hard way on a motorcycle years ago.
