What part of MN are you from. I live close to the Gerhardson Brothers. They have a saw mill. These guys are super nice and turn out some good rough cut lumber. I bought a bunch of ash from them to build a fence around the horse pasture last spring. Peanuts compared to green treated 2x6. I think they cut alot of lumber for hay racks. They"ll either sell you the lumber and you build it yourself or they will build the rack on your running gear. If your interested you can email me or post here and I"ll get you their info.

I'm in southern MN (New Ulm) and looking for a good sawmill around. So is my BiL. What part of the state are they in - ash is a southern MN wood, most sawmills end up being up in pine country?

Paul, sorry for the delayed reply. I was out of town for the weekend. I"m about 20 miles north of Willmar. So a little hike for ya but not too bad. My email address should be open, so if you want to email me I"ll find their # and shoot it back to you, then you can take it from there. As I said before, it"s two brothers and they saw mostly this time of year. I believe they both get laid off in the winter. Hope this helps Brokenwrench

Paul- I would expect SE MN area would have some mills, with all the hardwoods in the area. Check with the Agri-News paper out of Rochester. www.agrinews.com, or 1-800-533-1727, ext 777.
