How do I go about rigging one of those up on my F2?

The hydraulic drive pack came on the 300 series Gleaner heads from 1982-1987. 313 and 315 were made to fit the F2/F3. The pump and valve actually goes on the head and is driven off the header jackshaft. A solenoid control on the valve connects to a switch in the cab. (1982 F2 and all F3 had this switch). You can might be able to find a hydraulic drive pack in a salvage yard. Bish makes new hydraulic drive packs, too. However, a new adapter and a new hydraulic drive pack would cost about the same as a whole Gleaner 313 or 315 flex that would fit right on your combine (except for the electric header height control). I have considered doing a conversion for my K2, since Gleaner never made a true flex head for the K series, only floating bars. Cost is prohibitive for me, as a nice JD 213 head will come close to $3500, not including the drive pack and adapter.
