Heres some more pictures taken by Cheryl Unruh whom writes for the Emporia,KS paper.

She has a very nice website (Flyover People) with lots of pictures from small Kansas towns.

Hey Blaine, those are great. As an old Kansas boy, I love the scenery of the State. Too many people think Kansas is flat and desolate, but that just is not true.

Tom, Kansas is like a second home to me.I never get tired of driving in it.It has everything but tall mountains.

As a result of a predetermined notion I also thought Kansas was flat. But then a lot of people visualize the Canadian prairies as flat and treeless.

Kansas probably has more rolling ground than flat ground. Some of the flatest ground is in western Kansas. The Flint Hills region has lots of hills.
