I have the B&M tensioner on mine and I have read and heard of people taking the belts up a link. Have to break the chain and get a splice. Don't do this if you installed new drive sprockets though.

I buy many parts thru shoup. Tom

Thanks Tom for all the advice I really apreciate it, I just got back from Mother Deer with an awful sore you know what... Thats all they offered for the chain was a connecting link, they could not even find number on the chain. How do you like the tensioners? I am using a 3300 this year, hope to use a 4400 next year.

Cause I can go a few hundred acres between adjustments. Takes a few hours to install. Mine are on the belts only. Sounds like u need a better dealer. John Deere has parts on line if you get signed up for it and your dealer has it. I use it frequently and especially for price comparisons. Tom
