So, out of curiosity, was anyone able to help you?I just a 6080 dropped in my lap for a slipping clutch. It is original, and I was going to split it and do the job. There is no tech manual available for me, so I am searching the net looking for a little info. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks....

I got a paper in the new clutch with dimensions on it and just did as they said. I used the tool before a local dealer may let you rent it or use it.

You can take your flywheel off, take it to a dealer and have them use the tool to set it up on the bench and take it home put it on it will be all set. Some dealers have a plate they bolt them to to set em up, u won't need to bring the flywheel, or just borrow the tool. I just did a 5050 clutch and borrowed a tool, if u could that would be the way to go.

Identifying Tractor Smells - by Curtis Von Fange. We are continuing our series on learning to talk the language of our tractor. Since we can’t actually talk to our tractors, though some of the older sect of farmers might disagree, we use our five physical senses to observe and construe what our iron age friends are trying to tell us. We have already talked about some of the colors the unit might leave as clues to its well-being. Now we are going to use our noses to diagnose particular smells. ELECTRICAL SMELLS
