My experience is a running CA is worth 900-1200 dollars. From there add for tires, paint, completeness, meaning lights, breather, things that cost to replace, how straight is the metal and having the three point already is a 300-500 dollar plus. hand clutch if it's working, and as you have guessed the wide front tractors are more popular and bring a little more. Changing them isn't a problem, it's just four nuts holds it to the front of the engine and fooling with taking the radiator and sheetmetal off the nose. A nice wide front could run you 375-600 depending on who has it. If the one you are looking at is nice I'd say it's not too low or too high but about fair market value.
