Just put mine back on last evenning

The braket off the head is factory

muffler slides into manifold also

I secured my muffler with a 4" clamp that we also use to secure our 3 1/2" straight pipe when we go pulling. The straight pipe really lets the WD bark

I don't remember any bracket to the head? Bracket to the manifold with two capscrews to hold it in. Exhaust ( bottom of muffler) pipe fits into top of manifold.

my bracket attaches at the head manifold side of valve cover....two 3/4 in bolts .......

looks factory original

Its how my operators manual has it also
