I have a WD45 that sat out side for seven years. It was super stuck. I used a penetrating oil called FREE by Certified Laboratories. It is similar to Kroil if you can find that. Most aerosol penetrating oils will evaporate, so I would douse the cylinder every day for a week. I would also replace the spark plugs each time. At this point I pulled out the plugs and put her in neutral. Chock the wheels and take the starter off. The next part sounds a little wierd, but it works. I took an old tire iron with the flat blade end, and cut the socket end off. I then slipped a four foot section of pipe over the end of the tire iron. (This should be welded together for safety) Carefully place the blade end down as far as you can get on the flywheel. The very last tooth showing. It doesn't matter which side. Pull down on the bar with every thing you have. At this point, my flywheel moved about two or three teeth. I then went to the other side of the flywheel. I did the same thing. It moved back to the stuck spot easily, and then got stubborn again. One more real hard pull and it went half way around. At this point, I soaked the cylinders again, this time with oil. You will be freed up most of the way around until you hit the spot where it was froze up. Just keep working with it. The rusted places in the cylinders just need to be worn down. This method sounds danderous, but it works. You can get a lot more leverage at the flywheel. Take your time, and try not to slip off the tooth. This is a last resort when rocking in high gear won't budge it. This really does work, my WD45 runs great.
