I know that this may sound silly, but my 1950 Model B had its distributor installed 180 degrees opposite from the way it is supposed to be. #1 is at 7 o'clock instead of 1 o'clock. It was that way when I got it. It runs great. So I am not going to change anything. Make sure that your distributor rotor is pointing to the #1 wire when the #1 cylinder is at TDC.
